Xiaomi achieved full charge in 5 minutes with 300W fast charging!
The Mobile World Congress, which began yesterday and will last for 4 days, will undoubtedly bring many new technologies into our lives. During this process, we shared with you the events and devices introduced by Xiaomi and Honor. However, Xiaomi seems to have spread its product announcements throughout the event.
In late October of last year, Xiaomi released 210W fast charging technology through its Redmi brand. After that, in early February, Realme also integrated 240W fast charging technology into its devices, following Oppo and OnePlus.
Today, Xiaomi responded quite harshly. Xiaomi introduced 300W fast charging technology, which can fully charge a phone with an empty battery in just 5 minutes, by releasing a demo video. It is stated that the new and smaller version of the 4,300mAh battery in the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition, which was introduced in October, is used in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with 300W support.
Thus, the device’s battery reached 20% in just over a minute, 50% in 2 minutes and 12 seconds, and 100% in less than 5 minutes. The device, which controls power and current, showed a value above 290W for a long time, while it was around 280W in the last two minutes.
